About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Outlet Manager position to join our Food & Beverage Service Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
鈥 To ensure the smooth running of the Room service department, courteous and effective manner to the Jumeirah International standards of service while maintaining the restaurant profitability.
鈥 Instructs colleagues on specific safe work practices (e.g. use of proper footwear, cleaning up after spills).
鈥 To quickly assess guests needs and flexes styles appropriately.
鈥 Projects a positive, professional and friendly image to the guests and colleagues.
鈥 Coordinates resources for 鈥渟pecial events鈥.
鈥 Coordinates with Chef and F&B Director methods for controlling wastages.
鈥 Schedules colleagues in accordance with labour standards and business levels and appropriately control labour costs.
鈥 Instructs colleagues on proper equipment storage and handling to minimize breakage of china and glass and misuse of linen and silverware.
鈥 To ensure that the Department operational budget is strictly adhered to, that all costs are controlled, and expenditure approved.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualification
鈥 Basic Food and Hygiene Training
鈥 Previous Management Courses and Training Experience
Experience
鈥 Previous supervisory experience in a similar type of establishment
鈥 Understanding of Mallorca鈥檚 Restaurants scene
Skills
鈥 Excellent level of English
鈥 Friendly, approachable and professional
鈥 Demonstrates excellent supervisory and leadership skill
鈥 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
鈥 Works well under pressure
鈥 Demonstrates flexibility in working according to the needs of the business
鈥 Excellent customer care skills
